1. What this site is

CalcMyTrip provides trip cost estimating tools for India. It is an information service. We are not a travel agency, not a booking platform, and not connected to Indian Railways, IRCTC, any state transport corporation, any bus operator, any airline or any hotel.

2. We take no bookings and no money

3. Fares are estimates shown as ranges

Train and bus fares here are calculated from published per-kilometre tariff structures. They are not live prices and not bookable. Railway fares are telescopic, carry minimum fares and rounding rules, and premium trains use dynamic pricing. Private bus fares surge heavily around weekends and festivals.

Confirm the actual fare before you travel. A range from this site is for budgeting only.

4. Benchmarks are averages, not prices

Hotel, food, local transport and sightseeing figures are researched averages for a type of destination. They are not prices for any particular hotel or restaurant. Accommodation is the most variable input on the whole site.

5. Road trip figures

Fuel, toll and wear estimates assume normal highway driving at the mileage you enter. Hill roads, traffic, load and air conditioning all reduce mileage. Tolls are charged per plaza rather than per kilometre, so our distance-based figure is an approximation.

Driver fatigue is not a cost any calculator can price. On long or hill routes it matters more than money. Nothing on this site should be read as a reason to keep driving when you are tired.

6. Journey times

Durations use rough average speeds and exclude connections, waiting, traffic and delays. They exist to compare modes, not to plan a connection. Do not use them to decide whether you will make a flight.

7. No liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss arising from decisions made using it — including a trip that cost more than estimated, a fare that differed from our range, or a connection that was missed.

8. Using our content

Read, calculate and share result links freely — sharing a budget with your group is exactly what they are for. Republishing our guides, route data or benchmark tables elsewhere, or scraping the site automatically, is not permitted.

9. No commercial relationships

No affiliate links, no booking commission, no paid placement. No operator, hotel or aggregator pays to appear in a result. Nothing you see is ranked by who pays us, because nobody does.

10. Availability

We do not promise the site will always be up. Fuel prices and benchmarks are updated regularly, so a figure may change between visits — that is the point of keeping them current.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Indore have jurisdiction.
